Jon has about 30 years of experience in water quality protection and restoration. His areas of expertise include municipal stormwater program management and implementation, pollutant control programs such as Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) to restore water quality in surface waters, and water quality monitoring and assessment. His current work focuses on assisting San Francisco Bay Area countywide stormwater programs and their local member agencies with all facets of municipal stormwater NPDES permit compliance, with the overall goal of helping to protect and restore Bay Area creeks and San Francisco Bay. Jon has a B.S. in microbiology from University of Florida and an M.S. in civil engineering from Stanford University.
